Hario V-60The Hario V-60 is a single cup pour over brew system. The cone shaped design adds depth to the coffee. This form of brewing coffee requires a lot of technique. However, with practice it will yield a clean and complex cup. Tools Burr Grinder Hario V-60 02 V-60 02 Filter Scale Timer Gooseneck Kettle Decanter Ratio: 12 g Coffee, 200 g filtered water Grind: Medium Time: 2:30 min 1. Measure out coffee and grind, right before brewing 2. Place Hario with filter onto decanter 3. Rinse filter w/ hot water & discard 4. Place decanter with hairo on scale 5. Add ground coffee 6. Tare scale & start timer 7. Wet ground with approximately 40 g of water 8. Allow coffee to ballon for 40 seconds 9. At 40 seconds begin to slowly pour the water over the grounds, in a half dollar circular motion over the coffee 10. Pour until you reach 300 grams on the scale 11. Pour into Mug - enjoy! |
